Today: On hold with the GAS company for 40 minutes so that I can explain that I've been away for 3 months, and they don't need to come inspect my meter. They sent me a letter that it is "not recording usage properly," and asked me to call them. I've listened to all their on-hold announcements at least 50 times! Grrrrr...
This is perfect, Scott! You have so many wonderful travel adventures and food postings on FB, this is just the next logical step forward. I look forward to future postings!

DeleteOh that GAS company! We had a funny thing happen to us with that company. Lance always kept our house so cold there they sent us a letter one day and said they just KNEW there was something wrong with our meter so they had to change it out to a new one. HAHA! Nothing changed, it was still cold in the house and the bills were still low...Surprise, not everyone has high gas bills! Great idea on the blog Scott, keep havin' fun and we miss seeing you!

I got the EXACT same letter, Renee! "...meter is not properly recording gas usage. This could either mean that (get this) either gas is not being used, or that the meter is malfunctioning." DUH!
ReplyDeleteI called them, as requested...and after 50 minutes on hold, I gave up. Sent them an email from their site. If they want to contact me, they can.
Miss you guys too. Never see the neighbors, BUT, I DID notice that they re-installed the hanging plant pole that Lance cemented in, and they then dug out and removed. Go figure...
Hope you're set for a fine summer. Would love to see you again sometime. Tell Lance I said "howdy" and you both take good care!
